With help from Chris Vardon, we have already changed the bonnet over to the one I got from Jago, but used my later grill.
Still other panels to swop over as well as new bumper brackets for the front, and somehow swop out the worst of the chrome trim for better examples I have.

On the chrome strips may you need to use the wife's, or your own hairdryer on the highest setting
To get the strip nice and pliable, then tease one end out from where it disappears behind the molding.
Once started continue heating the back of the strip as you remove this helps loosen the 3m tape that's is used to bond it. To help to start the process drill a 5-6mm hole about 100mm from the ends and use a thin small tool to help lever out. I used to fit these to the strips during production many years ago and once you've done a few they are quite easy to remove. Good luck.

Thanks, something to do in the coming months.
First job is to press it into service for some basic trips to ensure all is well and it's ready for a trip to Yorkshire on the 9th October.
Insurance is Live from Thursday, so first trip out will hopefully be the school run Thursday afternoon, then on to Swindon.

Being a 1994 car and "Pre project drive" will my base model 827 have the required loom already fitted for electric rear windows?
The doors I bought from Jago are all electric, and at the moment, I really don't have the time to start swopping out the powered windows and fitting the manual ones from my original doors.

Doctors and therapists get paid to treat patients, they don't get paid to provide a cure, it just puts them out of a job.
I've had arthritis since 1976, none of my doctors told me it was an allergy, they get paid extra to administer cortisone injections, £36.00 for every injection, so they're hardly going to tell the world there's a very simple cure.
Keep researching, it's well worth doing, I've been pain free for 12 months now.

Beauty full car you have there! The colour compliments the lines!
Amazing how the people at Rover made the mk2 look so different in comparison to the mk1.
The mk2 is, in my opinion, a more stately, grandeur motor and the mk1 more sleek and sportive.
Mk2 fastbacks must be more rare than the mk2 saloons?

Just done the school run. Only short, but 5 miles of fast back road, then into town for fuel.
Another run later down the bypass to the Physio's in Warminster should clean the system out.
It's good to be back in the Barge!, although the gear change has stiffened up some.

Told you that V6 growl is addictive!
Some silicone lube spray might sort out the gear change, the rubbers in the mechanism could well have dried out from lack of use and possibly the ball joint the lever itself sits in (do 800 manuals have a ball joint on the bottom of the gera lever? ) might need a smear of grease. Other than that it will probably loosen up with use i reckon.
