I only went to Dave's to cut the arches off his old shell and look what happened!
My coupe, Dave's coupe and saloon, Dusan's fastback and Steve's (not a member) saloon, ZT and 75.
Was good to meet Dusan and an amusing few hours were had comparing angle grinders and top-end rattles.

Last time i saw all three gold cars together was when i owned all of them! Steve has cleaned "The Imposter" (long story!) since and added a boot spoiler though.
Maybe next time we can get the other Lakenheath 800 owner along as well, that one is another Vitesse fastback in Nightfire and if memory serves, the number plate starts "T16"............

I've been on there quite a while but only got "less lazy" about posting on there recently.
One of the main reasons is i've been threatening to build some ramps for what is probably the last decade and after seeing the efforts of a few members of the MIG welding forum and also needing some lead-on ramps for a set of "normal" ramps (normal as in shop-bought), i finally decided to make something. The pic above is the first lead-on ramp, second is the same and i plan on making a pair of "jack in the box" wheel stands.
As you say, it's a friendly forum and it's good to see what others have done - was very helpful in giving me a few ideas and the motivation to finally get on and make some sort of ramps!

Thanks for sharing! The most I've ever seen in the same time are 3 or maybe 4 Rover 800s. In traffic I see maybe one every year. Thats all.

Between the 4 of us there that day Henrik, we owned at least 7 800s, think i was the only one able to put two of mine in the car park though.
There is another 800 that lives in my village but unfortunately (although i think the owner is a member on here) i don't really know him.
