Yesterday was the 10th British Motor Meet. For me it was a one way 320km trip. I was a bit scared that the coupe would break down as there is some obvious wrong with it but who dares win etc...

Thanks Mike.
The White roadster is an Armstrong Siddeley Hurricane. Loads of nice cars there.
Yes the coupe got me all the way home too but the noise is somewhat worse!

Yes, first step though is to book up the annual check to see how the rest of the front suspension is. I hope it is as easy as a ball joint rubbing!scoobyh123 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 10:44 pmBeautiful machinery and scenery there Henrik!

Re: British Motor Meet 2019
My guess is diff bearings so i doubt the MoT (or your version of it) will reveal anything.
If one lower ball joint does show itself to be faulty, replace both but mind your back doing it! The driveshaft nuts are 420Nm (about 315 lb/ft) so take some shifting. You'll also need a large, beefy pair of external circlip pliers, a big bucket of luck, a large drift or puller, big hammer and possibly a blowtorch. You'll also need two new driveshaft nuts. Might pay to check the CV joints while you're at it.
