I have driven a few thousand French miles in three weeks including three trips to Paris. How many Rover 800's spotted? Two. Here's one in a Supermarket carpark in Baud, near Pontivy, Brittany. The other got away before I could grab my camera.
I can't believe how few I saw. Normally a few dozen every day in Brittany and a spattering in Paris. This time none at all in Paris. Mind you, I only saw about 6 XMs as well.
No longer an 800 owner!
