That will mean Kate hasn't seen it.

According to the forum software is shows Kate's last activity as Wed Sep 19, 2018 8:50 am. So it seems unlikely you'll see a quick response. The only other thing I can suggest is if you go onto her profile it should allow you to email her. That might be worth a try if the account is still used.

Unfortunately a lot of members have drifted away from here over the last few years and people don't check in anything like as often as they once did.

Got a small owners club sticker from Peter but would still like a large round one if anyone has one.

There will be some new stickers available shortly as the new club comes on stream.

I seem to recall the R800 club is to merge with the Maestro & Montego Owners Club, whether that's what Dave means or not i don't know?

I think a lot of people will be wondering who is on the committee of the new one Dave?

There is no committee Dave, like this Forum it's run by enthusiasts who believe the members and their cars are more important than dictatorial committees. This Club is also run on the belief that without technical information and where possible parts remanufacture the car will be reduced to just handfuls in a few short years. Enthusiasm is easier to sustain when there is backup for members whenever possible. The 2 shows a year at the NEC are all very nice but the £1000 to fund them could be better spent.

That's very encouraging Dave, there seemed to be an undercurrent on the last one of a certain member using the club as funding for their own pursuits i.e. the NEC shows and very little support for members - not that i actually joined but know a couple that did and they were a little put off by the poor quality of the club magazine and the "free" pen that came with it and didn't even work for very long!

What events will the club be attending, what other benefits are planned/under way/already available for members, what else can you tell us about it?

Maybe this is the wrong thread and if so, apologies to the OP but i suppose the stickers will be available through the new club so maybe not so far off topic after all. :D

I've been to have a look at the 'Rover800.club' and perhaps I'm being a little stupid. What is really the difference/advantages between here and there and what am I getting for my £24? (not a lot of dosh but still...) Is anybody here on there as well and can throw a bit more light on the situation? Is it fully up and running?

I'm all for promoting our cars but if something is just doubling up, then I'm struggling to see why. I know it's a lot quieter on here (and this is essentially free), so who is the new club trying to attract?
