I finally have a boat!

Having lived next to the river Yare for over 13 years I thought it was about time we got a boat and tonight we won this on ebay!








I've been after a boat for a very long time but didn't really know how to make it happen, however my company's are now based in offices rented in the boat yard at the bottom of my garden and I get on quite well with the marine company so i thought it was about time to go for it.

She's a little grubby at the moment so the plans are to take her out of the water and restore her. With any luck she'll be relaunched while it's still warm and hopefully we'll get a week away on her before the kids go back to school. Very excited though!!!!

Keep us updated on the progress of this project, it will make interesting reading. I've always described Rover ownership like boat ownership, there's always something to work on but you wouldn't have it any other way
