I still pop in from time to time but due to work commitments and my 800s all behaving themselves (thats torn it) don't have much to post.
I don't do Face twitter or wap book so this is my only way of communicating with the 800 community.

I'm still here I forget about this place sometimes then all of a sudden go oooh let's look at the 800 club.

My vitesse is doing great though is starting to be high milage though it's now on 38000 miles yes that's right thirty eight thousand miles.
I treated it to some sticky rubber and had no change from £400 god I love these cars.

Here it is washed and with new tyres.

I've just popped back onto the forum, after being strangely absent for quite some time. I see what goes on the Facebook arm and it's all rather random to me. With the forum everything is put in orderly pigeon holes which I like when accessing threads and information. I'm still using my coupe on a semi regular basis and just lately it is getting a fair bit more tlc. Good to come back to the fold..

As mentioned, the forum is so much better to use than the facebook-page as everyting there just fills "one thread". I like the facebook idea in the simplicity in adding pics, but for updates and experience, trouble shooting, the forum is hard to beat. So we need to keep the forum alive. I will make my best to make contributions!

Earlier I asked about Jago as he ended up with my Sterling, but I think he had it for sale. I've now searched the DVLA and it's not listed at all. Does that mean it's scrapped? :-(

Usually yes but sometimes the DVLA website throws a wobbly and says a car doesn't exist when it does. Trying later that day or a few days after usually brings the correct result though. In the past i've tried checking on mine to remind myself of the MoT date and it's come up with no records, the car is sat outside so i know it hasn't been scrapped :D and then for some reason a few days later it all works normally.

Give it a few days and try again, hopefully it will show yours is still in existence. I have vague memories of it selling on ebay when Jago put it on there but no idea where it went, how much for etc.

Another small but possible option could be that someone's decided to put a private/different plate on it?
