No idea - I know it's still quite buggy (I've not had notifications - other than those for private messages - working for many years, and every page is covered in text that says

"[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/vendor/twig/twig/lib/Twig/Extension/Core.php on line 1266: count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable".

But I know it's maintained by a couple of people on an entirely voluntary basis, so I'm not complaining!

Ditto! Strange how we suddenly seem to be having this problem every few days! :?

Hello guys. I don't know the exact nature of the problem, sorry.

I'm not a technophobe but the management of the forum is beyond my capabilities and is handled on an entirely voluntary (and fee-free) basis by one of our members.

Unfortunately, at the same time that the forum crashed, so did James - with a case of the "Miley" (virus). however, he dragged himself from his sick bed and we're back in action and my thanks to him.

Thanks for the info Rich, and many thanks to James aswell! And to all of the rest involved.

The forum is so important to keep alive as it is the largest bank of R800 knowledge in the world, and if I knew anything about these things I would gladely assist in any way.

Would it be possible to make a backup of everything posted on the forum over the years? I would be first in line to pay for it if I could get everything downloaded on a drive or USB-memory stick.

That's a good question. I'll ask James if such a thing is possible
