Great work Marc - something ironic has just occurred to me, Van Den Plas was originally a Dutch coachbuilder that British Leyland bought in (i think) the 1960s and now you have a 1980s British Leyland car with the Union Flag next to the (originally) coachbuilders name in the Netherlands - may brain cell seems to be on a philosophical line tonight!

Ah oke. I was not sure if it was Dutch or Belgian. Now I know!

After the work in the house, we brought over the SD1.


During the moving we used the garage as storage for other items so the SD1 had to wait outside under the carport for the time being:

After a few days of work inside the house, we decided we wanted the cars inside as well. I could not just move into the garage. I wanted it to be lovely.

First cleaned out the garage and started masking:

White paint, yellow line, mopped and added some details. Looks pretty good i think!:


Before putting them inside their freshly painted and cleaned new home I had to clean the Rovers. Nice that we have a washing bay next to our house!:


This felt goooood! Not a huge garage but big enough:
Now it is just a matter of making it our own. Added some shelfs and posters etc:

There's always a trade-off/compromise when moving anywhere, on the upside although you've increased your commute to work, it'll be better for your cars and you have better facilities to take care of them too, not to mention what seems to be a lovely setting in the countryside.
