I hope so otherwise all that work will be for nothing... the idea is it will be a good cruiser with a good turn off speed, very much like the jag, but I think it will be about 3-400 kg lighter than the xj6 that everything came from, just better... lol..... any car show that I want to go to will let me in to display, no questions unlike the maestro and the sterling when I had that, and when me and jan get out of the morris we will look like the ant hill mob, might have to get some fake tommy guns and thirties style gangster outfits.... lol

I don't get or like all the so-called snobbery about classics, no need for 20 questions just to show a classic.
It's going to be a case of "Honey i shrunk the Jag and fitted a different body" but should perform as good as if not better than the Jag and probably give better economy too being lighter.
Like the Anthill Mob analogy!

I didn't think the Morris would have been so big back in 1935!

that's one of the reasons there are not many about would have been a high tax car... the turrets are now made up and have tried the air suspension out the rear goes up fairly quick but takes ages to come down, it must have some sort of restrictor in there somewhere... the front well it doesn't appear to lift up hardly at all had 80psi and barely half an inch rise.. might have to look into some stronger airbags for the front...

Sounds more ilke you've either got a blockage in the pipes feeding the front or you've trapped a pipe reducing the airflow to the front Rick. I know in things like the citroen DS and other cars with air suspension, those i've seen have always come up at the back first and failry quickly then the front sudden'y starts to move after what seems like a lifetime then usually comes up at a reasonable speed.thamestyres wrote: ↑Mon Jun 15, 2020 6:04 pmthat's one of the reasons there are not many about would have been a high tax car... the turrets are now made up and have tried the air suspension out the rear goes up fairly quick but takes ages to come down, it must have some sort of restrictor in there somewhere... the front well it doesn't appear to lift up hardly at all had 80psi and barely half an inch rise.. might have to look into some stronger airbags for the front...
Have you tried disconnecting the fronts and putting the air on them individually?
