Pride of Longbridge 2014 M25/M40 convoy! All welcome!

People from last year will know the drill- I'm planning same locations and times- spread the word!. PICS OF LAST YEAR BELOW!




Third year for this convoy- wow times goes fast! Again I am organising an MG Rover convoy to Pride of Longbridge on SATURDAY 12TH APRIL 2014.

Arrangements same as last year but here are the details to recap;

We are going to be meeting in the carpark at M25 Clacket Lane services CLOCKWISE about 7am [arrive 6:45] and M40 Beaconsfield services NORTHBOUND about 8am [arrive 7:45].

Anyone with a MG or Rover is welcome to come along. Don't worry if you have slow car, all will be legal 70mph motoring.

Drop your name below and spread the word. Would be great to see 40 MGRs going up the motorway together.

There are 2 meeting points for people from the North and South. People from South can meet at M25 services and people from the North area can meet on the M40. People from the South then hook up at the M40 with the other people.

Saturday 12th April.

7am M25- Clacket Lane services - clockwise TN16 2ER

8am M40 Beaconsfield services- northbound. HP9 2SE


Any car with any rleation to Longbridge is allowed, old, young, modded, factory.

Plus it puts some extra emphasis on Project Oxford Blues...

Anyone that has been before, especially Thamestyres can confirm a good turn out every year. I think somewhere in the region of about 30-40 cars last year.

No 800s were built there but the gearbox was on 820/827 manuals. The organisers don't care about little details like that, though, any vaguely related car is welcome

I'm aiming to go to Longbridge itself but won't be on the convoy, are we commandeering an area or is it a case of turn up and park up where you like?

I'm not being "clubby" here but it would just be cool to see loads of 800 series cars all parked up together
