sorry for the delay in getting some info put up chris, i have been snowed under at work this week. I will let you know some dates and venues and make contact with some of the organisers.

Would rather somewhere I can get to cheaply

How about something a little more central to the majority of those attending?

After seeing the Pics of CITP, it looked like it was similar to Bromley Pagaent of Motoring. How about we make have a proper meet there?

I really want to get to a meet soon, and show off my car

Bromley Pageant will be back next year. Think we should try and get a few of us in the 'One make line up'. with the other Rovers. That's free. Or even a Club Stand. SD1 Club and SD1 Kent Region were both there with 3 Car Club Stands.
Broadlands Pageant of Motoring is on 30 & 31 August. (Hampshire)
Swale Festival of Transport is on 26 & 27 September (Kent)
Could be something there for us Southerners

Not as far away as I thought it would be. 116 miles from me.

I've emailed the organisers of the classic show at the NEC in november, to ask if it's possible to have a stand there. If I remember correctly, the stands are free but we may have to stump up public liability insurance and (if we want it) electricity.

The autoresponse said that he's out of the office until monday - I'll let you know what I hear back. It may be too late to do anything.

It's not quite a meet but it would mean that any exhibitors would get free admission.

Best of luck there Richard, don't wanna sound too negative but a friend of mine who used to exhibit there has had no luck the last 2 years all because the big boys (Volvo etc) take up all the spaces!!

Its supposed to be a classic car show yet a lot of the space is now taken up by major modern manufacturers!
