Well, that's it-the Sterling is as clean as it's going to be. Just waiting for Mrs.W to come home from work and then off to Bromley. See you all Sunday morning-early !!

Same here John! A wash and polish today, few bits chucked in the boot. Going to the shops tomorrow for some supplies. And then off to Norman Park to find our stand and open the beer

It was raining while mine was being washed. Not by me though.

The forecost off the BBC site says fine till early afternoon tomorrow and then rain. So be prepared folks.

i have been running around devon all week and the sterling is rank, am hoping to be home early on saturday so that i can get it washed ready for sunday, if not mine might might be very dirty so might have to bring some water for a light rinse off

Does anyone local to the area know if there's any decent hand car washes near to Norman Park?

Washed & polished mine, then went to the underground car park for some shopping. I missed a downfall, and it has not been too bad here all day after that. Fingers crossed for similar at the weekend.

I am told there is one in Homesdale Road, which is at the bottom of Mason's Hill, where it becomes Bromley Common, almost opposite Hayes Lane. It's opp Tesco HTH
