Hi!

Just thought that it could be nice to see if we could arrange a little Rover 800 gathering on NEC. Would be nice to see other Rover 800 maniacs IRL.

It's tge Classic Motorshow at the NEC, Birmingham (that is not intended as being a smart Alec answer btw) and it runs from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th November.

I'll be there on the Saturday at some point.

It's a mica colour which is why it's so bright!

The 2.0 versions are THE sports car bargain at the moment-a good car can still be had for sub Â£1000 and parts are generally cheap.

I like stuff like that. Though I do prefer 944/928s if I'm honest.

No room for one anyway, so no point looking.

A friend of mine has a 944. It looks ok but it's a bit rattly inside and the interior is more plasticky than a plastic cat in plasticville.

Precisely what one of my classic car mags said last month. Relatively easy to look after, thanks to the use of lots of VW bits.
