BMC/BL Day, Peterborough 2012 Sunday 5th August

Hi All,

just been having a "bit of a surf" on the web and found the dates have been announced for the 2012 BMC/BL day at Ferry Meadows, Peterborough.

After such a great weekend this year, i thought i would make the post sooner rather than later about it.

The details are here - apparently there will be a price increase for 2012 and prices are "currently under review" but i can't imagine it's going to be anything too heavy in the way of an increase.

I would offer to organise it but you'd all like it to run smoothly so i'd best not! Without wishing to be presumptuous, would it be too much to ask for John W to do the organising please? Unless anyone else would like to volunteer? Hopefully if John does organise it again, we'll be able to thank him in person this time!

Too early for me to commit yet, I haven't seen the dates for holidays at work next year yet.

If no-one objects, I will organise it again. You never know, I might even get there next year....
Probably a bit early to take names yet- February time is best.

Part of the reason i found/posted it so "early" is in the hope more people will get to know when it's happening and organise things accordingly. Of course if someone happens to be in a job where holidays tend to be allocated as it sounds like Chris is then it may not be helpful but fingers crossed it will be.

First job I've had that's like it. Likely to be the first 2 weeks of August again I think. So I won't know for a few weeks until the holidays are broadcast.

Sorry, perhaps i should have said the date is Sunday 5th August 2012. The 7th August date was this year (2011) - i put the link in for the other info that's there such as prices being under review etc in case someone wanted to bookmark it for future reference themselves.

someones got my tent , got to much to do everywhere else, still doing the bathroom/kitchen/lounge ( only been 4 years so far ).

Hmm, i wonder who could have your tent then? Seriously i thought you were going to dump it else i wouldn't have said yes!

It's only one day extra to camp, surely if the bathroom/kitchen/lounge have waited 4 years so far one more day won't hurt? I do get what you're saying though as i know you have a pretty busy life.

How did your economy go with the new Lambda sensor by the way?

no worrys about the tent, haven't realy drove it enough to see seems to be as smooth as before and on the mot test it was well in on emisions.

As we're now halfway through February, i thought i'd give this post a "bump" and also ask - John, have you any news on taking names for this years BL Day or whatever?
