Hi Folks.
I'm pleased to hear you're all coming down to sunny Cornwall again, i hope the weather is as good as last year, it was one of the hottest days of the year when you came here to The Lizard.
Might well join you again depending when you come, Bank Holidays are busy times, I need to keep my shop open for the Tourist Trade and can't always escape! Cornwall Festival of Motoring is at Lemon Quay Truro on Sunday June 10th. and might well be worth a visit; there's usually a contingent from Rover Enthusiasts South West with Rovers of all ages and models including several 800's, I'm thinking of possibly joining them myself.
We're a 3-Rover Family these days, I still have my beloved 1999 Vitesse Fastback, my Wife drives a 1998 420 Saloon and my Daughter has a 2001 25 1.4. I dare say I'll see Job anyway when he's here if he stays at his usual hideaway, it's only minutes away, and I expect he'll keep me informed of your possible itinerary.

I'll have a phone call tomorrow with the Cadgwith guys. Everything came on a slippery slope when my mother got very ill in November and I wasn't on here very much.
End of January she died and with all the work after that, all paperwork, clearing the house etc. I lost about 5 months of being aware what was going on in the rest of the world.
I'm certainly in for it now and wil try to get a cottage tomorrow.

Sad news indeed, Job. Perhaps a break in Cadgwith might be just what you need! I only hope you're not too late to find accomodation; the recent BBC2 TV series "The Fisherman's Apprentice" has made Cadgwith itself a very popular port of call for visitors; there should still be accomodation available fairly close however.
