WOW. That is a massive achievement.

November is seriously do-able for me, both in terms of having a blinging car (or 2....), and being around.

What would be better? 2.7 Manual Coupé or 2.0 Turbo Coupé

What do you need to know, and when??

Obviously I can't get involved directly but this is a superb opportunity to give the 800 the recognition it deserves.

We should organise some flyers to hand out and whatever it takes to get the display looking nice. the Rover Sports Register and some of the other clubs (perhaps the 200/400 club) may be willing to give some advice.

I've provisionally got carpeting for the display stand sorted. What we'll also be needing is display plinths/information boards etc, and depending on how far we want to go, other stand decorations/video displays.

I now need to go through all the paperwork (there is a lot) and work out how many cars we can fit on-stand. I'll start a separate thread asking for cars soon.

Would we need carpet under each car, or the whole satnd???

The whole stand. It looks the most professional IMO. Like I say I've pretty much got that issue covered now (no pun intended!).

I have been given permission from the Fiancee (Will be wife by then) to go, if I am selected. She said I should take the Gold 2.7 Coupé..... It _HAS_ to be ready by September. She has nominated it as her wedding car
