Bromley Pageant of Motoring 2012

BPoM date for 2012 has been announced as Sunday 10 June. At the moment I have only the basic details, as below:

If we want another stand this year, I will obtain the necessary details and entry form, and hope the staff on the ground are a bit more 'with it' this year, and we get out programmes and plaques on the day.

My goodness it rained last year! Really enjoyed the camping and day even if it was a little damp!

Bit far ahead for me to plan, I'll have to confirm nearer the time.

Hi Brian

Good news. Managed to coller my sergeant in a good mood and he has let me re roster my rest day so I can go to the show on duty and bring the 827.

Have also spoken to historic fleet manager who doesn't think it will be a problem either.

Have we definitely got a stand?

I'm waiting for others to come forward, but I can still book a stand. I think Phil is keen, as I am. At least a 3 car stand, but hoping for more. I think if we have one, I will book a larger stand to give us a bit more room, it was cramped last year. So I hope this will act as a *bump*

Bad news I am afraid. The historic fleet manager contacted me on Friday and said the 827 is to be used for a memorial/funeral service on that date. (which is a bit more important than a motor show) so I won't be able to bring it.

Hi Kate, sorry to hear that the Stand Star can't make it

I agree, a Memorial is more important, but it's a bit early to plan someone's funeral day, unless someone in New Scotland Yard has a crystal ball

Useful bump really, as it is just over 3 months to the event. Looks like 3 of use (Me, Nuts & Mike) are interested, with Guru as a possible. Any one else? The beach volleyball at the Olympics won't have started by 10 June, so you will be free
