With it mostly back together and my Dad wanting his drive back, i put the 827 out to pasture. Its now sat in a field shelter which looks bizarre, but actually preferable to being under an outdoor carcover. Here it gets plenty of airflow, and most of it is under cover from all but driving rain. Just hope the sheep dont chew the number plate and bumpers.

The plan is to get an MoT on it then stick it back on ebay. I just dont have the time to give it the attention it needs and deserves. I made a lot of progress this week, but its very infrequently that ill get a whole week off work just to spend on cars, and if i do get time off, it should really be spent finishing the Police car. So if anyone is in the mood for a green and beige 800 that needs paint and probably some suspension bushes, let me know.

Someone will get a bargain with the amount of work you've done to it, i hope whoever buys it continues the good work and doesn't just buy it as a "cheap hack" to run for a year until the MoT runs out.

Now you've got the number plate back on, there's something vaguely familiar about the reg, was it one of the press cars at any time? If so that could give you a lever to push the price up out of the way of someone who only wants a cheap hack. :wink: :D

This car has been trapped in the field shelter the last few month due to incredibly tall grass. Think waist high, brambles and thickets. Now field has been cut, I went to check on it.

Whilst the field shelter has kept it warm and dry, it has lead to an unforeseen complication...House Martins!

They have moved in and re decorated!

What's nice is that the interior is totally mould free and incredibly dry. So much better than having it under that car cover I was using.

At least it's still clean on the inside! :lol:

Given the change in the weather, just move it out and let it get washed off, job done! :P

Joking aside though, the sooner you can get that cleaned up the better before the acid in the parrot-poop eats into the paintwork. :wink: :D
