Very good repair, difficult to see the damage in the photos. I dare say impossible to see when you're sat on it.

Before i took the 827 Vitesse out of hibernation i wanted to tackle a minor detail. The rear emblems glue looked a bit nasty so i removed them. I found out they were not very stuck on so i was lucky that i did not loose them.
First took them of and cleaned them:

Before i put them back on i degreased the tailgate, polished and cleaned it:


Result:

Last friday i took the Vitesse to work to deflate the tires back to road use pressure. I also took the time to remove a stain in the paint onn the right rear quarter panel. First 3000, then 8000, then crude polish and then fine polish good result!!:

Today (saturday) the first proper drive and i was in luck because the weather was lovely! The Vitesse was valuated again for the inssurance with good result!:



Then i drove to a mate to do some maintenance. First an engine flush:

Then drain the old oil and fill with new and new oil filter installed:

I also replaced the brake fluid because that was 3 years ago:


All good now!

I worked yesterday on mine. I repainted the black on the rear bumper, but I Forgot to took some pictures, and as the car is not clean, I couldn't take some picture today, but it will comes...

Absolutely beautiful. It's almost depressing how good the Vitesse is in that I will probably never get to that level but it is something worth aiming for. My own vehicle looks very sorry for itself but I am trying to take care of the unseen first; gearbox refurb is next on the list and possibly a head rebuild.

Excellent attention to detail everywhere on the your car. Well done!

I had to get something out of my system. After all the work the engine bay had to be cleaned. Very happy with the result!
